Dirty Baby

Abby carries her baby doll everywhere. And it is getting filthy. Today we were playing in the backyard, when I told her, "Your baby is very dirty." She looked up at me and said "bath, bath, bath." Which came out "bae-the" so I was a little confused at first but once I figured out what she was saying I was very impressed she was able to put together dirty equals bath. Too smart I tell you. When we were getting ready for bed we gave baby a wash cloth bath, he already looks much better.

16 Months!

Abby wore this hat for over an hour tonight, she keeps saying "outside", she hates the rain. Hopefully it will warm up and dry out for the weekend. She loves the spring weather we've had for the last week.

I can't believe how old Abby is getting, and so quickly. She is very verbal these days, always joining the conversation. She also tries to dress herself. Trying hard to get her socks on and helping get her onesie over her head. Every night when we lay out her clothes for the next day I ask her what she wants to wear. And without missing a beat she asks for "Elmo." She loves Elmo. She's also big into babies, she carries her baby around all day, pushing her in a her stroller, putting her "nigh-night", and trying to feed her a bottle. We are still working on sharing, one of her favorite words is "mine."

I loves this outfit, it's a mismatch of hand-me downs, she looked really cute with her braids in. But they came out when the hat went on.

Worms

Dave pulled a worm from the garden the other night. Yuck. Abby loved it. I think she killed it. She carried it around for a long time, putting it in the tree, in the garden, tugging on it and kissing it. Gross.




So gross.

Finished Product

So here's the finished product. Didn't they turn out great?! I love them. Abby loved the tutu's, she kept saying "ooohh."

Auntie Sally even made a matching tutu for teddy!

The best part? The tutu's are no-sew, super easy to make.
