Purina Farms '13

 Last week Auntie Sally and I took the kids on our annual spring trek to Purina Farms, home of the Purina Incredible Dogs and lots of farm animals. We happened to go on opening weekend and the place was packed. We arrived a little late for the dog show and actually had to stand in the back.

Every spring the farm holds "Springtime Village" a small part of the barn holds all sorts of baby farm animals.

 The chicks & ducklings are only a few days old. Noah was pretty funny at the farm he was too cool to pet any animals until he saw the horse. He couldn't wait to pet the biggest animal on the farm.

And just because we've been going for three years now... this is Abby at just 16 months on her first trip to the farm. Look at those cheeks.

Noah Thomas 2 years old

Here's a look at some of the 2-year pics I took of little man this weekend, isn't he handsome. I'm not sure where our baby went but he's a cute kid.

 After pictures Noah and Abby burned off some energy running up and down the hill. Abby said she needed to exercise her knees, oh vey.

Quotables: Buzz Toy, Buzz Toy!

Noah has a fascination with Buzz Lightyear toys.  He got quite a bit of it for his birthday.

Peggy was talking with Sally on the phone this afternoon about what she was getting for Noah's birthday.  Peggy told Sally that he really didn't need any more Buzz toys since he got so much for his birthday.

Noah heard this, ran over to Peggy and yelled the following:

"Buzz toy!  Buzz toy!  I talk on phone?"

Hilarious!

"Nuffin"

When driving home from work yesterday, we were stopped at a stoplight.  I turned around to talk to Noah.  I noticed he had something (probably leftover snack) on his upper lip.

I asked him, "Noah, what's on your lip?"
He looked at me with the most dead-serious face, shrugged his shoulders, held his hands up (the classic "what?!?" look) and said "Nuffin'"

It was so stinking adorably cute, I wish I had it on video.

Happy Birthday Chubbs!

Today Noah Thomas is 2 years old! Our little guy is not so little anymore. Saturday we celebrated with a Buzz Light Year party. He loves Buzz and Woody. It was a small low key party, which is just what the doctor ordered after the crazy week we had. 

Noah is a boy of man words lately. He gives a sister a run for her money. Beside calling Abby by her name, he is saying 3 and 4 word sentences. He is boy through and through, from the way he throws fits to the way he tackles his food.

 Noah is still sucking his thumb at bedtime and he has a blankie that he refers to as "blank." We call him our "little man" and "chubbs." He's into everything, cupboards, his sisters toys and anything that we tell him he can't have!

 I love that the two pictures of the two of them in this post, both include Noah with a sippy cup to his face. And yes another night of breathing treatments.
