After daycare paperwork, Abby had an eye doctor appointment. Missouri has a program "InfantSee", one of the benefits is a free eye exam before your childs first birthday. We learned about the program from our Parents as Teachers advisor. Abby did great at her appointment. She sat on my lap and looked at the lights, and even let the doctor put drops in her eyes... well at least one of them. The doctor tried to dilate her eyes, but after getting drops in one eye Abby was done. So this is what she looks like tonight. The drops take longer to wear off on a little kid - hopefully tomorrow she'll be seeing better. She was really upset when we went back to the car and it was sunny outside.
We ran home for a quick lunch and back out for her "bugs" class. Only two more classes. Abby was Mr. Mike's helper today, showing all the new kids (fall semester just started) all her old tricks. She is now standing without leaning on anything. She is growing up too fast!
And check out this hair... she's got some kind of crazy layered looking mullet in the back... It's starting to lose its curl, so sad.
