Bad news, we had to change Noah's surgery date. Sunday night, he started feeling yucky, yesterday he was sent home from school with a high fever. His nose and eyes were all booger-y and he was a mess. We kept him home today. We just got back from the pediatrician where they tested him for both RSV and influenza. He doesn't have either but he does have some nasty virus and pink eye. Which means no surgery. ugh. We've been looking forward to getting him tubes for the last two months. We just can't stand to see him sick all the time. Luckily the shot that he got a couple of weeks ago has worked miracles (no ear infections since!).
So we've got the surgery rescheduled for later this month. Not ideal but he has to get healthy and stay healthy for this thing to happen. Another three weeks is a long time to wait.
