We took the kids to Indianapolis Easter weekend for a quick 3 day get away. It was perfect. We had a great time and the weather cooperated. Our first stop was the Rhythm! Discovery Center in downtown. It was a small studio with a ton of different drums that the kids could bang on. It was a great time.
The place was a little pricey for as small as it was but the kids had a blast pounding on drums, it was the perfect place to burn off some steam after the 4 hour car trip.
This was probably the best part, a full drumset for the kids to play, plus there was a fancy recorder so they could play back they songs. Once daddy figured out how to record, the kids loved hearing themselves play and talk.
After walking around downtown a little bit we learned that the nearby Indianapolis Art Musem was open, free and a cool kids exhibit. They are also home to the original "LOVE" statue.
We walked around a little bit inside before we found the kids room. Crabs!
The kids room was pretty cool, they had ipads the kids could draw pictures on.
Noah was much more excited about the blocks than the ipad.
After this, it was back to the hotel for some swimming and sleep.
