Potty Potty Everywhere!

As you know, we started "officially" potty training mid last week. All I can say is that she's doing WAYYYY better than we had hoped.

We like to remember her successes and accidents as a record. So, if she's 4-2, that means she successfully went to the potty 4 times and had two accidents.

On Saturday, she had a great day. She ended up 8-2!!! We were SOOOOO excited!

But Sunday was a completely different ballgame (haha, get it, ballgame.....ya know, the record thing). She just plain didn't want to go to the potty. As a result her record was similar to what you might see the Kansas City Royals start out the season with, 1-5ish?

Then came Monday, she did fantastic again! She had two accidents in the morning. Although, admittedly, one was sort of my fault....she told me she had to go pee-pee. So, we rushed to the potty. But someone (ahem, ME) forgot to empty it out from last time. So, I went to empty it out, and by the time I got back, it was too late! Sorry Abby! So, she ended the day yesterday something like 7-2. She pooped FOUR TIMES while the realtor was here. So, yeah, we're trying to sign papers and she was explaining important things, but one of us was mostly in the bathrooom. It was pretty funny.

And she's starting to get smart about it too. When she pooped four times in a row, we thought she was just doing it to get more M&M's. The third poop was almost nothing. But, what are we supposed to do? She's doing so well, that we don't want to screw it up by not giving M&M's! We thought we had her game figured out, but then on the fourth poop, there was a TON! Where did this all come from?!?

That brings us to today. So far, she's got quite the record going. She's UNDEFEATED (similar to what you might see the Cardinals start the season with :-) She's gone potty/poo-poo three times and had NO ACCIDENTS! We even took a trip to wal mart and home depot in her training pants with no accidents! I'm so proud of her. She's sleeping now (she still wears a diaper for naps), but we'll see if she can stay undefeated!
