Abby's doll was "broken" this morning, so I took a look at it. It needs new batteries.
Me: You need more batteries.
Abby: (pauses) We need to buy some battries!
Me: Are you going to use your money to buy batteries?
Abby: No!
Me: Why not?
Abby: I need to save my money!
Me: Why?
Abby: So I can eat!
Me: Don't mommy and daddy buy your food?
Abby: Yeeeeahhh.
Me: So, why do you need money for food?
Abby: I don't......I just being silly!
